Moth & Tanuki cancelled
"Moth & Tanuki" have been cancelled from Mania for next year - bugger! The last episode will be in #80, the Summer special.

Thanks, Tony, I appreciate it. I don't think I can advocate that approach though - Mothy wouldn't approve :)! I recognise local comics will always have a limited longevity in publications (particularly given competition with imports). Mania has run more Australian artists over time than any of the other kids' magazines, so good on them for that.
Overall, I'm happy the colour M&Ts lasted a year and this decision is apparently nothing to do with the strip itself. I certainly hadn't run out of ideas - my next 4 scripts were the best of the run so far! Oh well, time to think about other projects...
